Spider monkey is a member of the primitive monkeys of the New World. There are seven different species of spider monkeys that live in Central and South America and in northern parts of Mexico. Spider monkeys live in wet and dense tropical rainforests.
Carnivores only eat other animals. They do not eat any plants. Harpy Eagles, Jaguar, and Piranhas are some of the carnivores that live in the Amazon Rain Forest. This is where they are in the food chain: plants > herbivores > carnivores.
